About BitcoinSaving
BitcoinSaving is a free calculator with one job: replay what regular Bitcoin buying would have done, on real prices, so savers can see the whole ride, crashes included, before they judge the result.
What BitcoinSaving is
Pick an amount, a rhythm (hourly, daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly) and a start year, and the calculator replays that plan on daily Bitcoin prices back to 2010. It shows what you would have put in, the Bitcoin you would have stacked, your average cost, and the stretches where the plan sat under water. Around the calculator sit the other tools on this site: a sats to Bitcoin converter, aBTC to USD converter, a fee calculator, an honest lump sum vs DCA comparison, the learn guides, and a blog that recomputes the savings stories people tell each other, including the parts that make Bitcoin look bad.
BitcoinSaving does not buy, sell, hold, send or receive Bitcoin. It is not a wallet, an exchange, a broker or a bank, and it never takes custody of funds or keys.
How the calculator works, and where its data comes from
Every replay runs on daily Bitcoin closing prices from Coinbase, served via btcdollarcostaverage.com, the same series the app and this website have used since the start. The live price in the site header comes from mempool.space, and the converters use live Coinbase prices. A result is plain arithmetic on that history: each scheduled buy is priced at that day's close, and the totals are the sums of those buys. Nothing is projected, forecast or smoothed. Figures are rounded for display, and every number published on this site can be recomputed in the calculator itself.
Who builds and maintains it
BitcoinSaving is built and maintained by Rankplan, a digital studio based in Orlando, Florida. Rankplan designs and builds the website, the app and the data pipeline behind them, and writes and publishes the blog. Questions, corrections and complaints about the data are welcome: they are how the numbers stay honest.

Education only
BitcoinSaving is an educational tool. Nothing on this site is financial advice, and past performance does not predict future results. Prices can fall as well as rise, and a plan replayed here can be worth less than the amount put in.
