BitcoinSaving support
BitcoinSaving is an educational Bitcoin savings calculator. It shows what regular purchases would have done in the past, using daily Bitcoin prices back to 2010. It does not buy, sell, hold, send or receive Bitcoin, and it gives no financial advice.

Common questions
The calculator says my plan would be worth less than I put in. Is that a bug?
Probably not. Bitcoin's price fell for long stretches (2018, 2022). A plan that started near a peak can show a loss. Try a longer period or a different start date to see how much the start point matters.
Where do the prices come from, and why does hourly buying differ from daily?
We use one daily BTC/USD close price per day, back to 18 August 2010. The hourly option splits each day's amount into 24 equal parts at that same day's price, because there is no public hourly series back to 2010. Results are a simulation, not a record of real trades.
I paid $3.99. How do I get Premium back on a new phone or after reinstalling?
Open the app, go to the Premium screen and tap Restore Purchases. Sign in with the same Apple ID you paid with. The unlock is a one-time payment tied to your Apple ID: no subscription, nothing renews.
How do I remove the ads?
Buy the one-time Premium unlock in the app. Ads stop immediately and stay off on that Apple ID.
Do I need an account?
No. The app has no account system at launch. The calculator works in full with no sign-up, and your saved plans are stored on your device.
I found wrong numbers. What should I do?
Email us the amount, frequency and start year you used, plus a screenshot. We check every report against the daily price series.
